  My husband and I had a date night at the Japanese retreat. I was very impressed with the attention to details throughout our whole experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the massage was amazing relaxing. We were thrilled to have a private outdoor bath just for us two. The dining experience was also very good. We have enjoyed every meal that was served. I can’t say anything bad about our experience at the Japanese retreat. Our experience was perfect! Will definitely come again. Keep up the wonderful service.

  We loved our experience here yesterday. We feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after our spa, massage and lunch package. It was all really well run and made so easy for us to just enjoy the experience. The food was absolutely 10/10 and we were so full afterwards. I have already recommended the same package to some friends.

  I went to the Japanese mountain retreat for a couples massage using a voucher my friends have given us. Look I will start by saying the massage itself was decent however beyond that this place does not deserve to be charging the prices that some of the top spas in Melbourne change. Our massage costs $600 for the both of us and if I had payed the money myself I would have been very annoyed. This place is tacky at its core. It’s an old motel or something that’s been changed into a Japanese/ Moroccan retreat but you can still tell it’s an old motel style building. I could go on and on in this review but all I will say is if you want a good day spa that reflects the money you spend don’t come here. I think this place could work ok with some changes but would also require the prices to be lowered so expectations would lower. Would not return.

  A facial experience to enjoy! The beautician was amazing and all the products used were gentle in my skin and left it feeling so rejuvenated. The added bonus of the scalp and shoulder massage just made the hold things complete. I shall definitely be back for another facial and would recommend it to anyone looking for some pampering.

  We loved our 2 night stay, the relaxation started as soon as we arrived in the Roman baths, massages and steam rooms. My hubby and I had a beautiful private room with a hot tub, everything was perfect for our stay. The meals were 10/10 all the staff were beautiful and the property and attention to detail is amazing. We were sad to leave and hope one day we can go back and do the same package again.
